.dds Dateien öffnen

hey danke,
dass mit DTXbmp hat geklappt, ich kann die Datei jetzt öffnen und bearbeiten.
Ich bräuchte jetzt allerdings Mal Hilfe von Fachleuten den ich habe ehrlich gesagt überhaupt keine Ahnung von PS ^^

es geht um folgendes: ich habe da ein Logo, welches ich bearbeiten möchte. ich habe auch eine Anleitung. Die ist auf Englisch, das ist aber nicht das problem. ich verstehe jedoch nicht was ich tun soll. ich soll irgendwelche Alpha-Kanäle editieren oder so. Der Verfasser verwendet eine nicht näher bekannte Version von Photoshop. Auch kann der Verfasser Dateien ins .dds Format speichern, was sich später bestimmt noch als Problem herausstellen wird.

Das Logo liegt auf schwarzem Hintergrund, dieser ist Transparent.
Wenn ich da einfach Text hinzufüge ist es so als würde ich mit unsichtbarer Tinte schreiben. Mein Ziel ist es, dem Bild Text hinzuzufügen. Wegen der Transparenz des Hintergrundes ist es also nicht damit getan stumpf ein Textfeld hinzuzufügen.

alpha 1 is the layer that provides this information to the game. black = completely transparent white=non transparent(yes i forgot the other word that means non transparent)

select alpha 1, right click and delete channel
click back over to the layers tab, go to Edit > fill > choose color . select black #000000

dont worry you can just insert some text with your mods name for now. as for me, im going to insert a smilely face and some text

8.ok, we now have our logo or a plea. whichever it is that you came up with, you will now need to head over to the Channels tab again.

click create new channel.
once you have a new channel it will be completely black=transparent.

select your layers tab once more. select the text layer transparency,if you did what i did and have two layers you can select both by selecting the first one normally then hot key cntrl+shift+left mb click on the other layer .

head back on over to the channels tab.make sure you have the new alpha layer selected that we created earlier. while the selection of the text layer is flashing hit your delete key

after you have hit delete you should have something that looks similar to this. head back over to the layers tab for the last time. flatten all of your layers by going to the top menu >layers>flatten image

9.before we save to a dds format, we need to flip the image upside down, to do this go to image>rotate canvas>flip canvas vertical . after you have completed this step go to file > save as, select the .dds format
a new menu will popup with some more options, all you need to do is save it as DXT5 ARGB Interpolated Alpha, 2d Texture , Generate No mip maps. Select yes to overwrite coh_logo.dds if it prompts you to.
