Dass PNG Transparenzen unterstützt und JPG nicht, ist mir schon klar. Das ist aber bei dem gefragten Foto völlig irrelevant.

Doch, hier schon, denn sonst hätte es auch um die 45MB.
Farbtiefe ist 8bit pro Kanal.
8bit = 1Byte
Pro Pixel also 3Byte (1Byte x 3 Farbkanäle)
15 Mio Pixel x 3Byte = 45 Mio Byte = 45MB
Dein PNG hat nur 11MB, also ist es komprimiert!
