All this seems to be a known issue with various Adobe products.

After release of the script-based version of the Elements+, I've
received several reports on this bug (from users of PSE 6, 7, and 8
under Windows and Mac OS X).
Eventually, the most cases have solved by themselves after several
computer reboots.
However, about 5 cases haven't (as far as I know).
If the problem persists, I can offer to a user just 2 solutions:
- either using the action-based version of the Elements+ (download
link is available on request)
- or full refund (within one month after purchasing)
I'm afraid, the best countermeasure I can't suggest at the moment is
trying the demo version prior to purchasing the full one.
As for the users already struggling with the bug, they are encouraged
to contact me directly at <author@video-books.net>. Messages in German
are ok ("Google translate" works fine
)
